fruit?

Jourden: "It smells weird in here (kitchen)."
Tara: "Yeah it does..."
(Chloe awkward dancing in the background)
Jourden: "It smells like rotten fruit!"
Tara's eyes get really big, she marches to the cupboard, and turns around with a bag of moldy pears.
Yes, they had been in there since we moved in. A month ago.

We love Tara :)

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

"Speaking of things that are against the honor code..." -Jourden

"My knee brace looks like a garment line." -Jourden

"Stop trying to make me jealous with cells." -Chloe

Random boy walking behind Chloe "Hey see ya later!  I have to go floss! I've been craving it all day."

naps are for college kids.

first of all.... shout out to our only faithful commentee, Bobbi Lee! cough cough everyone else :)

well... it's been a few days! here's what cha missed.
1) chloe is applying for study abroad to LONDON :) :) :) spring semester. april 27-june 11
2) jourden got a dog! and she is obsessed. Only Cuz It's the cutest dog ever on the planet.
3) byu lost :(
4) elder kordsiemon is off to everett! chloe's family is from good ol everett, washington! hence everett gerald robert hyde's name! and my grandpa is the ward mission leader there. taylor did an amazing job at his farewell.
5) mama ging got called as the yw president in chloe's home ward! as if being in grad school and being everett's mother wasn't keeping her busy enough. president mama ging!
6) chloe walked into our room today to find jourden passed out in her bed at 5 pm. chloe decided to follow jourden's example and take a little nappy... four hours later here we are.
7) baby there's a shark in the water.
8) Jourden left her phone charger in good old Hairy Man. Cross you fingers that it has a long life this time.
9) RHS is the best! homecoming week was great. Jourden loved being a super senior!

story of the day: chloe didn't work today so she got to sleep in! jourden had class early though, and i swear that girl is the worst at waking up/hearing alarms. so last night she set three alarms on her phone. the first one goes off for a solid minute and jourd doesn't even flinch. it wakes chloe right up. ten minutes later, the second one goes off, louder. jourden still doesn't move. chloe is wide awake. third alarm goes off so chloe barely whispers "jourd!" jourden: "huh?" chloe: "your alarm is going off."

hahaha of course she can sleep through the loudest alarm in the world. she is just sensitive to the sound of chloe's voice.

text of the day: Chloe, I can't believe you're not married yet. What gives? Did you get in an accident and become deformed? Wow thats awful...

thank you Chad Mikolyski.

peacock.

Our new layout is cutes magoots! Riiight? Yeah!

So the other day Jourden was at work and before you can call anyone you have to dial 91... so Elicia ( the girls she works with) was like okay the number is 1-800-.... so Jourden dials 911800. The university police thing comes up on the screen so she hangs up mega fast and pretends like nothing happened. And then they started callling back. So she told Elicia what happened and she answered the phone and told them it was an accident. Yup. Second time. Once at four years old and once at eighteen. Accidents happen.

BTW ( yes we speak text) we are changing our playlist so you no longer have to mute your computer everytime you read our blog :)

yahhhh yuh welcome!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

Jourden: "Chloe what are you going to do when we don't live together and I don't sing to you anymore?"
Chloe: "Get a cat."

"I wish Everett had a facebook."

"I feel like my butt is growing exponentially." -obviously not Chloe!

I'm gonna marry a doctor and a lawyer...

Sometimes Chloe gets obsessed with songs and listens to them repeatedly for days. The same song. Over and over and over. And then Jourden gets mad... and then wants to listen to them after Chloe has moved on.

Haha we are super great :)

We have lots of midterms this week and next! Yummy.
Speaking of yummy, tonight we had Asian Appreciation Night for FHE. Waisha made amazing chinese food! We ate a lot....

we always eat a lot.
Last friday we went to Village Inn, and Colton was wearing his dad's jacket from when he was 8. He straight up looked like a homeless person. We were all laughing at him and he started pouting and sat an another table. So Chloe walked by his table and threw a dollar at him. Colton: "I don't get it." Tyson: "They think you look homeless."

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

"127 people don't want sweaters."

"Stop facebooking me from three feet away!!!"

"How much money do you have to have in your bank account to have an 18 carat diamond?"

"Ya'll have blood, and we need it."

happy campers.

Sara: "Jourden have you and Chloe gotten in a fight yet?"
Jourden: "No, Mom!"
Sara: "Wow you guys are good!"

We're so good! The goodest. But we probably aren't allowed to say that because we are in college, and it's not a real word.

Good news! WE COOKED! Today for dinner we made penne pasta and delicious chicken.

Also is the man of Whitney Hall #236 is Jourden DeWitt. Our disposal has been broken this whole week and she fixed it!!! She had to stick her hand down the drain and pulled out a huge chunk of hair... yeah why is there hair is the kitchen drain? (Mom it's not mine I promise!) Jourden is going to be such a great wifey.

We have had a substitute teacher in ballet this week and she is amazing! She is also five months pregnant and whenever she dances full out I feel like her water is going to break. Anyways, she is actually somewhat of a challenging teacher. We did double frappes for the first time since being in college. Also we jumped and it was so great! Angela if you read this... We miss you a lot. You are the best teacher ever ever ever.

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

Chloe: "Your brain is a weird place." (reference to Jourden's brain)

Jourden: "Sometime I feel like I'm dating a 12 year old girl."

Lady at Stake Relief Society Meeting: "We didn't tell you what the name of this lesson was because we knew you wouldn't come if we did."
FYI: We were told it was called Steadfast and Immovable. We got there and discovered it was about hemlines and cleavage.

202!

... the number of steps we walk every day. Fun fact: The stairs to get to the Richards Building have 101 steep stairs. Going  to ballet every day, we take 202 stairs. That must be the reason my calves are getting so big I can't get my pants on and off?

Story of the day: This morning Chloe was leaving for work way too early (aka 7 ish) and Jourden rolls over in bed and says "good morning Chloe!" and she holds her hand out and says "Here's your phone!" I looked down at my phone in my hand... "What???" Jourden: "Oh wait. I dreamed I had your phone. Have a good day! Love you!" "hahahaha love you too jourd. Go back to sleep."

Later we were talking about how funny this actually was. I was half asleep also, but apparently Jourden has very realistic and vivid dreams. About my cell phone. We don't judge :)

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

Jourden: "I want to be like her when I am pregnant."
Chloe: "I want to be like her when I'm not pregnant."

Said in unison...
Jourden: "I need to stop eating."
Chloe: "I need to work out."

Random boy outside Joseph Smith Building "Sam Wise would do it with me!"

schmonday.

What is the terminal velocity of a typical raindrop? Bleh physical science homework!

Jourden has become obsessed with youtube. While reading the scriptures she stopped and turned and said "Is it bad that while I was reading about Laman and Lemuel I kept thinking You are dumb. You are really dumb... ?" If you don't know what she is referring to, don't worry about it. Or look it up cuz it's funny.

So the boys across the way came up with this plan to get all the girls to cook for them by having a bake off competition with prize winners. AND it is ALL ABOUT "Bringing the girls of our dorms closer together to have memorable experiences". Right. And they couldn't beleive it when we were sarcastic about it with them! i guess all the other girls bought it. but probably not they are just nicer than we are or something... relief society presidents....

We don't judge. Well, kinda. Who is nicer than us?????? Guess who has two callings! YEAH! Visiting teaching supervisor. And Sunday school teacher. Hopefully this means double blessings.

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

Jourden: "It's like going from prime rib to a chicken nugget."

"I just want to take off my clothes!" (Chloe after dancing for an hour and a half, then sitting through another class, then walking home. Sweat fest)

"Can I pay you in biscuits?" -Julian Smith

cheese puffs.

Guys who wear expensive suits and walk like they own the world without shoes on are weird. The end.

youtube videos with super weird girls that are black are super funny.

Calm it down, calm it down, calm it down. CALM IT DOWN.

Weird thing. We walk out of our dorm and Chloe says oh look we match. Jourden says no one will notice. Later two boys ask us for directions, and as they walk away tell us how they like that we match. Even later tara says oh i like how you guys match. Side note: after the two boys made their last comment Chloe turns around grumbling about how we match and amostl falls and almost dies because she trips on the stairs. way funny

Yeah way funny! No... well kinda. Clumsy wumsy. Also we had approximately three dinners today! We had family dinner with William and Daniel and watched the fireside about marriage... Excellent. But kinda strange! And then we had a bbq at Tara's brothers apartment! Holy steak! I think people complain too much about eating in college. I have eaten great!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

Jourden: "He is going on a mission... if he doesn't go to jail."

Brad: "I'm going to squirt ketchup in your eye."

Chloe: "Bike fest!!!"

you're not hungry? ....weird.

Story time. So two nights ago one of our roommates, Waisha, who is the secretary in the Relief Society presidency was passing out our visiting teaching assignments! I (Chloe) glanced at mine and noticed that it said please report to Chloe. Wait what? Note: At this point I did not have a calling. Double note: Jourden's calling is co-chair of the sacrament program. Anyways, so I was trying to figure this out I remembered there is another Chloe in our ward. (PS Isn't that weird?? I have only ever met one other Chloe in my life)  Maybe it's her! Nope. It had my phone number by it.

Then Waisha goes Oh shoot! They haven't called you yet! But we had to pass out the cards... Surprise!

Great! VT Coordinator. Nbd.

Just wait... then last night the first counselor in our bishopric came over to officially call me. He asked me how school and work was going and if I was adjusting well and needed anything. I told him I was great! Then he said well, we are going to throw a monkey wrench at you. We would like to call you as a Sunday School teacher. WHAT!

Pray for me. That's all I can say.

Um yes this is what you think it is... A mom pushing her double stroller in the middle of campus.
Nothing like a little exercise with your babies.

Story numero dos.( back to Jourden's calling):
Saturday night: Jourden calls several people trying to figure out who is doing what in sacrament so she can type up the program. when she doesn't get a hold of anyone she leaves messages and hopes she'll figure it out, then proceeds to the football game
Sunday morning: church starts in twenty minutes she still has soaking wet hair, hasn't decided what to wear yet, and still hasn't typed up the program. Someone from the ward gets a hold of her and tells her that she should come over to the church to see how to set it up. someone knocks on the door and tells her the hymns, she puts her hair in a bun, grabs her shoes and high tails it out of the building and as she sprints bare foot to the church people give her the weirdest looks. finally she gets there are prints out the program which has problems but the damage is minimal.
later: in sunday school a member of the bishopric gets up and says that he would advise not to stay up too late on saturday nights adn that by looking at us it was easy to see who hadn't gotten enough sleep and had gotten up late. yeah.  and I ( jourden) sit there, no make up, hair in a mess.... and just sit there, thinking mega happy thoughts. that's all i have to say.

Also, I (Jourden once again) broke the world record for miles driven in a weekend. over the weekend i drove almost three hunudred miles! I went to heber twice and back and forth between provo and herriman mulitple times

Final story. At the football game last Saturday, Tara and Chloe got there early and were sitting on the front row just being cute. The ROTC guys and the canon they shoot off anytime BYU scores was directly in front of us. PS Mom, Garrett was there. Anyways, one of the officers comes over to Chloe and Tara and asks us if we wanted to shoot the canon! We said of course! He asked us for our numbers and names and said he would call us when it was our turn to come down. Long story short, a bunch of people called in favors so they were ahead of us on the list and we didn't get to shoot the canon. Then right before the game ended, Patrick (ROTC officer who looks super old) told us he would call us to come shoot the canon at the next game.

Three hours later... Chloe gets a call from a number she doesn't recognize. Then Chloe and Tara both get a text saying Hey this is Patrick, you guys are on the list for the next game to shoot the canon. Then I meant to save his name in my phone as Patrick ROTC, but instead I sent him a text that said Patrick ROTC. Shoot. It started a conversation. He texted back and said hey you sent me a text that said Patrick rotc? Is that a question? And I said sorry! I meant to save that in my phone. He then said is this Chloe, the cute girl sitting in the front row with curly blonde hair. Uhhh and I just texted back and said yep I have curly blonde hair. He said I hope I didn't make you blush with the cute comment! End of conversation.

Then today... He calls me during class and leaves me a message asking me to call him. I call him back after class... he asked me on a date for tonight. WHOA! Alas, we are going to the temple as a FHE group. Creeps mcgeeps.

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

Jourden: " hey you should just come to my house and stay the night we can have a sleepover!"
Chloe looks at jourden like she just crawled out from under a rock
Jourden "oh yeah that's like every night...."

Boy on bike rides by...
Jourden: "Hey Dallas!"
Boy ignores Jourden.
Jourden: "Wait, that's where he's from, not his name..."
Chloe: Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Random girl on the phone walking by Chloe "I didn't have any friends when I was pregnant. Tell her she can call me if she has any questions about being pregnant."

bed wetter :)

Story of Jourden's life slash old ancient dorms.
Day 1: I walk in and see a weird spot on my pillow. The ceiling is most likely leaking odd liquids. Chloe says Jourd! I didn't know you wet the bed? I said I don't! ( PSHH)
Day 2: I wake up completely saoked and wonder for a second if karma is out to get me because i wet the bed after I told Chloe i didn't. I then remember that at some point in the night i woke up, tried to grab my phone, knocked over a vase of flowers ( that my boyfriend so sweetly brought me :) ) and spilled the entire thing on my bed. In my dozy state i got up put a towel on the bed and went back to sleep, which brings us back to the beginning of the story. Meanwhile Chloe sleeps through the whole thing. She sleeps through everything.

On Friday night we impulsively decided to hike the Y! At midnight. For some reason I (Chloe) thought that it took half an hour to hike up and fifteen to hike down. FALSE BLACK BEAR. Hour and a half up, forty minutes down. It was amazing though. And I would definitely hike it at night again! We got back to our apartment around two... then Jourd wet the bed... ( see above)

Chloe, Jourden, Tara on the way up!

prettiest view :)

ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra gooooo cougars!! We had front row seats for the Washington game! It was incredible! And we were on TV because we are such great fans :)

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

Jourden: "Does anyone have a flashlight?"
Tara: "I have an umbrella."

"Jourden needs to talk to you. She has a pineapple."

Jourden: "Where are you going?"
Chloe: "To get some orange juice and die."

Chloe: "i'll move my checkbook because i'm a mom."

quicky.

Welp even though we have lots and lots of homework and studying to do, we are taking a baby size break to drinking orange juice and blog. Blogging break you could say.

First we gotsta shout out to the best girl you will ever meet. aka Camille Anthian aka CAMEL :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE!!! The three of us have danced together for a very long time, and have always been the best of friendsies. Take a look.

many a dance performance in our day.

<>
most recent :)

SUU is the luckiest duck to have this French babe. Love you camel!!

BYU does not allow Jourd and I to sleep very much. But after only a week we are becoming quite buff from dancing every single day, walking everywhere, and going up and down five flight of stairs to the RB on the daily. These stairs were , in fact, designed to torture BYU students who have recently finished some form of strenuous exercise by forcing them to walk up about ten hundred thousand stairs to get away from the building full of hot dancer babes( aka us) and beautiful athlete boys.

Today we went grocery shopping and felt like Mom's with our shopping carts. Good practice for in five years. Speaking of marriage, tonight Chloe had an interview with Bishop Bills where he counciled her to be prepared in case she got married and had babies sophomore year... Doubtful! especially since Jourden needs a roommate and will be sensoring all of Chloe's future dates.

QUOTES OF THE  DAY:

Jourden- "I'm never right."
Chloe- "You're right."

Tyson: "I hate it when candy tastes like medicine, but I love it when medicine tastes like candy."

Now back to the anthropology paper. gooood night!
